I don’t think I’ve talked about it here but I am a huge Red Sox fan, and I really, really like the BoSox manager, Terry Francona. After winning their division one year a reporter asked him about the pitching line up for the play-offs. I loved his response – “Can I just have a minute to celebrate tonight’s victory?” So, before I write anything about the health care reform legislation which was just passed by the House, I’m going to take a moment to celebrate tonight’s victory.
It’s a good day.

Oh honey, I hope you are right in thinking it’s a cause for celebration.
While it remains to be seen how good or bad this legislation is when the rubber meets the road, it is a cause for celebration for me for one reason at least – an acknowledgment that we all deserve access to affordable health care.
